Shave days off your next wayfinding project

PAM has just unveiled a powerful new feature called Project Tags, which could revolutionise the way you manage your next wayfinding project and make everyone on your team far more efficient.

To help you simplify thousands of signs and dozens of floor plans, PAM has created a tool called Project Tags that allows you to group signs more efficiently.

Categorising signs by “tagging” them might not sound like a big deal, but trust us, this feature is an invaluable tool for project managers and wayfinding designers alike.

The power of tagging

You can now assign responsibility for a set of assets to different individuals on your team.

If you’re a project manager, this means you can assign signs in one area to a particular faculty manager so they don’t waste days wading through the full range of assets that appear on various floor plans.

If you’re a wayfinding designer, it means you can ‘tag’ signs by location or phase, making it easy to strip away signs that aren’t relevant to this particular stage of your project. Instead of spending hours cross-referencing spreadsheets against floor plans, you’ll be able to find the signs you’re looking for with the click of a button.

There’s no limit to the number of categories you can create. Below, you can see the same asset is tagged will all the following labels: Wing A / Phase 1 / Internal.

Tag your way to efficiency in 5 steps

Step 1: Visit PAM’s Asset Tags menu, and click through to Assets/Markers.

Step 2: Organise signs by adding project tags.

Step 3: Add as many tags as you like to each sign such as “Internal”, “Wing A”, “Phase 1” and “Site A”.

Step 4: Use tags to refine your searches and create filtered reports.

Step 5: Manage wayfinding projects more efficiently by assigning tags to specific team members.

A game-changer for project managers?

This feature is designed specifically for project managers and wayfinding designers, and it’s designed to make the project management of your next big wayfinding project more efficient than ever.

We’d love to know more about the challenges you face when managing complex signage projects.
